Connect AirPods, thanks to the special magic of the W1 or H1 chip, Apple’s AirPods connect automatically to iPhone and, from there, to Apple Watch, and even iPad and Mac via iCloud.
AirPods are wireless versions of the Apple earbuds that come in the box with iPhones. Unlike other wireless earbuds at the time, the AirPods have no wires between them. The AirPods come with a carrying case, which also has a battery to charge them on the go. Without the case, AirPods can last for about 5 hours on a charge. The case can hold up to 24 hours of battery life.
To pair with an Android phone or tablet, or Windows PC or tablet, you need to pair manually. The good news is, AirPods can pair with any devices that support Bluetooth headphones.

Airpods will make a CHIME SOUND in both ears to let you know they are connected to test the sound on your playtion 4 controller hold the PS BUTTON FOR THE QUICK MENU Under SOUND DEVICES scroll down to OUTPUT TO HEAD and switch it to ALL AUDIO (this is just to test you DO NOT HAVE TO STAY IN THIS MODE) if you can hear system sounds and game sounds you are all set up
How To Reset AirPod
Apple’s AirPods and AirPods 2 have a reset function that returns them to their factory settings, which can come in handy if you’re handing down the wireless earphones to someone else or you’re having any sort of problem with them. Keep reading to learn how to reset your AirPods.
Step 1 ====> Ensure that both AirPods are in their charging case and that both the earbuds and the case have charge.
Step 2 ====> Locate the small button on the back of the case, near the bottom. It is flush with the case and the same color as it, so you might need to feel about for it.
Step 3 ====> Open the charging case lid.
Step 4 ====> Press and hold the button on the back of the case for at least 15 seconds. The case’s internal light between the AirPods will flash white and then amber, indicating the AirPods have reset. (If you have a Wireless Charging Case, this light is located on the front of the case.)
And that is all there is to it. Note that now the AirPods are reset they will no longer automatically recognize any of the devices linked to your iCloud account. Opening the AirPods case near to an iOS device will initiate the setup process, just like the first time you used them (Connect AirPods).
