I some time find ringtones annoying on my phone, therefore I set the phone on vibration. Due to this setting I missed some of my calls, messages and other alert on the phone.  I hate missing alerts, yet I am still reluctant to put the volume up on my ringer. Therefore I decided to use my iPhone flash light for notifications

An easy, built-in workaround is to enable the flash light on your iPhone to flash whenever you receive notifications. It is the same light used as the camera flash and flashlight, so it is bright enough to see during the day and perfect for catching alerts.

In fact, it is bright enough that I can usually see it flashing through my pockets, so it is good idea to enable iPhone flash light for notifications.

LED Flash Alerts

With this kind of alert, the LED (or light-emitting diode) used as the flash for your iPhone’s camera–blinks when you have an alert. These LED flash alerts allow you to know when you need to check your phone without looking at the screen or having the volume turned on.

How To Enable iPhone Flash Light For Notifications

The steps are very simple and easy to follow, it done not requires any special skill. If you can read, then you should be able to apply the steps as stated bellow.

Step 1 ====> Tap the Settings app on your home screen.

Step 2 ====> Now tap General.

Step 3 ====> Then tap Accessibility to move closer.

Step 4 ====> Now scroll down to the Hearing section. The setting is located here because this feature was originally designed for people with hearing impairments who can’t hear their phones ringing when calls come in or alerts are sent.

Step 5 ====> Then find the LED Flash for Alerts menu.

Step 6 ====> Move the slider to On (indicated by the color green).

How to enable LED Flash for Silent mode

If you want LED Flash to be automatically activated whenever you flick the mute switch on your iPhone, you just have to enable the feature.

Step 1 ====> Launch Settings from your Home screen.

Step 2 ====> Tap on General.

Step 3 ====> Tap on Accessibility.

Step 5 ====> Tap the switch next to Flash on Silent.
