What is split screen,what do you understand by Android phone to have the ability to splitscreen. This is a new feature on Android phone to break the screen into two, so that you will be able to perform multiple tasks at the same time on your phone.
Take for instance, you are on YouTube, then you want to reply messages on WhatsApp or Faecbook messenger. You don’t need to close what you are watching on YouTube before you will reply your messages. Here is where split screen is useful.
Though, not every Android phone has this feature. Some have the feature but you need to activate, before you can use it. But on the other hand, on Tecno spark KA7, I guess the feature is activated by default.
Here on this article, Tecno Spark 2, KA7 will be using as a case study. Meanwhile, if you are not using Tecno spark KA7, then you need to the steps bellow to enable or activate splitscreen on your Android phone.
How to Use Screen Split on Tecno Spark KA7
As we mentioned earlier on this article, this feature was activated by default. Therefore, here is how to use it. Assuming you have different apps running on your phone, then this is how to use the feature.
Step 1 ====> From the home page, tap the button which bring up the background apps on your phone. Mind you, some of the apps could not be split on the screen. Those that support split screen are as shown below.
Step 2 ====> Now that you know which app that support the feature, now let use it. Tap on the split screen sign on the apps to split the screen, here we are using Google Chrome and WhatsApp as shown bellow.
How to Remove SplitScreen on Tecno Spark KA7
From the two steps above, you were able to split screen on your phone. Here is how to remove it from the phone. At the base of every window, you see a split screen sign, wipe down or up depending on what you want to show on your screen
How to Enable Split Screen on Android Phone
The steps are simple and easy to follow. Everyone using Android phone should be able to follow the steps as shown bellow. Before we start, we are assuming that you enabled Gesture. If not:
Step 1 ====> Go to Android Settings, you know how to maneuver you way here.
Step 2 ====> Then tap System on the next screen
Step 3 ====> Now locate and tap on Gestures
Step 4 ====> Follow by Swiping up on Home button
Step 5 ====> Finally on this note tap to Turn on.
Use ScreenSplit on Android Phone
Step 1 ====> Open the Apps you want to see in split screen, here we have YouTube and Chrome browser already opened.
Step 2 ====> Now Swipe up from bottom (pill) button.
Step 3 ====> Tap on the desired app icon you want for split screen (here you see Chrome icon).
Step 4 ====> Tap on Chrome icon to get the menu.
Step 5 ====> Select SplitScreen.
Step 6 ====> Tap on the bottom window app.
