Another point here is your DRESSING. How do you look when you are with your spouse? Are you looking good or bad? If you are the type that put on any how dresses, you are open door for intruders. As a guy, dress corporately and look nice. By doing this, your girlfriend will be proud of you, this also goes for the ladies.
In addition to this, ladies in the house. Men love ladies with beautiful hair styles, so if you want to build a strong relationship with your, look nice all the time.
3. Maintain boundaries
When people get close, boundaries can get fuzzy. In a relationship without boundaries, you let the other person manipulate you into doing things you don’t want to do.
You act out of guilt instead of honoring your needs. You let someone offend you without telling them how you feel about it. The best way to ensure people treat you how you want to be treated is to teach them.
That means you have to love and respect yourself enough to do that, to acknowledge what you need, and speak up. The only way to truly have loving, peaceful relationships is to start with a loving, peaceful relationship with yourself.
4. Keep the novelty alive.
One of the positive aspects to build a strong relationship with someone for a long time is that you really get to know each other. The negative side of this is that the novelty wears off, and humans love novelty.
Moreover, there is a way to keep the novelty alive: constantly try new activities together. This creates the excitement and the uncertainty that comes from the unknown, even if you are with someone whom you know as well as the back of your hand.
5. Put yourself in your spouse shoes
The ability to feel sympathy and empathy, both of which are different, is something that wll help you greatly throughout your relationship. Learning how to build a strong relationship with your boyfriend takes time, yet is doable.
Don’t be in haste to judge, tolerate each other a bit, imagine your action, if your spouse is saying what you are saying to him or her now. Therefore, it is not difficult to feel empathy if you’ve managed to feel what your boyfriend or girlfriend may be feeling.
6. Build a high level of trust
Without trust, your relationship will never go anywhere. There will always be some level of checking up on each other, keeping a part of your heart to yourself, and most of your thoughts for yourself. It is no way to be in a relationship, regardless of how serious it may be. Build a high level of trust through certain trust exercises – specifically dedicated to strengthening your relationship. You won’t regret it, trust me!
7. Show affection.
If you have been in a relationship for a while, you may have stopped being as affectionate or physically loving with each other outside of sex.
Sex and affection are two different things. Show more affection outside of the bedroom. Just make small changes to show more affection when you are together.
For instance, you can touch him more when you talk, hold his hand, or rest your head on his shoulder. Be present when you kiss him instead of a quick distracted peck. Spend time holding each other and cuddling when you watch television.
